Cheer Divisions

For the 2008-2009 Cheerleading Competition season, WCA will follow the Rules, Guidelines and Divisions set forth by the USASF.  Click here for USASF details.

Recreation Cheer Divisions - Spring Floor

Recreation Squads are non-school affiliated & cheer together for an organized sport.
The grade of the participants as of the 2008-2009 school year.

School Cheer Divisions - Spring Floor

The following divisions will be split into: Small (12 or less), Medium (13-16),

Large 17-20), and Super Large (21 or more) when there are at least three teams registered in each respective division.

School Cheer Divisions - Non Spring Floor

School Squads must consist of students enrolled at the same school who have not graduated. Divisions are determined by the grade of participant at the time of competition regardless of age.

The following divisions will be split into: Small (12 or less), Medium (13-16),

Large 17-20), and Super Large (21 or more) when there are at least three teams registered in each respective division.

Age of the participants as of May 31, 2008 will be used for the 2008-2009 competition season. The following divisions will be split into: Small (5-20 members) and Large 21-36 members) when there are at least three teams registered in each respective division.

The following division will be split into All Girl (0 males) and Limited (1-4 males) when there are at least three teams registered in each respective division.

The following division will be split into Limited (1-4 males), Semi-Limited (5-12 males) males) and Unlimited (13 or more) as well as The following divisions will be split into: Small (5-20 members) and Large 21-36 members) when there are at least three teams registered in each respective division.
